This morning, I was blessed to receive the best Mother's Day gift one could ever ask for!
I was dropped Graham off at Natalie's this morning, and like I do every morning, gave him a kiss, told him to have fun and said, "Bye, Bye. I love you". And, like I do every morning, I turned to walk out the door. Before I could get more than two steps from the house, the door flew open and Natalie called to me, "Did you hear that?!?!". "Hear what?", I asked, certain from her tone and excitement that it has been something huge! She said, "He said, 'Love you'".
I have to admit, I was a little crushed at the thought of missing something so momentous, so I turned and walked back to the doorway and said again, "I love you". Graham looked right at me with those adorable baby blues and said, "love you"! My adorable, darling son said "Love you" for the first time! Happy Mother's Day to me!
And Graham, I promise that I will never, ever get tired of hearing you those 3 little words, and I hope and pray that you never grow tired of saying them! I love you forever, to the moon and back!
